All The New Anime Coming To Funimation And CrunchyRoll This Fall
The fall anime season is here, and there’s a truly incredible amount of anime to take in between the still-separate services of Funimation and Crunchyroll. The services released their fall lineups this week, and the biggest problem you’ll have is deciding what to watch first.
Funimation announced its acquisition of Crunchyroll back in December 2020, and officially completed it just last month. The merged organization has not yet announced how it plans to handle the two separate streaming services. Crunchyroll will see shows like Blade Runner: Black Lotus and Platinum End, while Funimation boasts titles like Ranking of Kings and The Vampire Dies in No Time.

Ken Block, Rally Driver And Entrepreneur Featured In Racing Games, Died In A Snowmobile Accident
Rally driver and Hoonigan Industries co-founder Ken Block, who was featured in racing games including Dirt and Forza, died at 55 after a snowmobile accident.
The news was confirmed by Hoonigan Industries itself via a statement on social media. The statement reads, “It’s with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer, and an icon. And most importantly a father and a husband. He will be incredibly missed. Please respect the family’s privacy at this time while they grieve.”

First up is Bocchi: The Rock, a must-watch anime series for anyone who loves music. Hitori Gotoh, a high school girl and talented guitarist who dreams of rock stardom but is also incredibly introverted, is eventually pulled out of her socially inept shell when she joins a local band. Dubbed Bocchi-chan by her bandmates, Gotoh finally finds a platform to help her grow and face her severe social anxiety, little by little. Bocchi: The Rock is a terrific combination of polished visuals and a killer soundtrack, mixed with endearing characters and hard-rocking performances.
